What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a primary health care discipline based on the scientific premise that the body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism.
The skull protects the delicate tissue of the brain. The moving bones of the spine protect the spinal cord and branching nerves (nerve roots). These nerves relay messages to and from every cell, tissue and organ of the body. Many everyday activities can lead to bones of the spine losing their normal motion or position causing nerves to become stretched, pinched or irritated ultimately resulting in ill health.
Chiropractic is the science of locating misaligned/fixated joints and by using a chiropractic adjustment; a safe carefully directed and controlled quick impulse, free the joint. Restoring proper motion and position to the spine gives the body the ability to return to its optimal working condition.
